12 UGC Examples, Broken Down by Hook, Value and Close

Not a gallery of other brands' ads. A field guide to the twelve UGC formats we reach for, and exactly why each one works.

Contact sheet of twelve vertical video thumbnails with marker circles

The best UGC examples share one structure: a hook that stops the scroll, a middle that proves value, and a close that tells the viewer what to do. We call it the Anatomy of a Winner. Below are twelve format examples written as scripts you can adapt, each broken into those three parts.

These are illustrative scripts for a fictional product, not client ads. They show the shape. Your product fills in the details.

    Problem-first formats

    01 · The Confession
Hook"I'm embarrassed how long I put up with this."

    02 · The Myth Bust
Hook"Everyone told me you need [expensive thing] for this. You don't."
ValueExplain the simpler approach and show the product doing it.
ClosePrice or offer on screen, plus a direct ask.
