Agencies treat creators like disposable assets, offering low rates and waiting 60+ days to pay invoices. Briefs are vague, feedback is subjective, and burnout is inevitable.

Meadowlark was founded by creators. We know what it feels like to spend 8 hours shooting a video only to be ghosted. We know the anxiety of checking your bank account while waiting for a Net-90 payment.
We built Meadowlark to be the "Safe Harbor" for professional creatives. A place where the rules are clear, the pay is fair, and the partnership is mutual. We don't just want your footage; we want to help you build a sustainable career.
No "Gifted" Collabs
Exposure doesn't pay rent. We pay cash. Every project has a clear contract with a clearly defined rate. If the scope increases, the pay increases. Period.
Net-15 Payments
We pay faster than 99% of the industry. Once your assets are approved, your payment is queued. We use Bill.com for direct deposits so you aren't losing fees to PayPal.
Briefs That Make Sense
"Make it viral" is not a brief. We provide detailed shot lists, visual references, do's/don'ts, and scripts. We do the strategy work so you can focus on performance.
One Point of Contact
You never deal with the client directly. You deal with us. We act as the buffer, filtering out unreasonable requests and ensuring feedback is actionable and respectful.
From Notification to Deposit.
We operate differently than Upwork or Fiverr. You don't bid on jobs. We hand-select you from our roster based on your profile.
The Tap
You receive an email notification: 'New Project: Skincare Brand looking for 30s female.' You can view the rate, the timeline, and the product instantly. Click 'Accept' or 'Pass' with zero pressure.
The Box
The product arrives at your doorstep. Inside, you find the physical product and a QR code. Scanning it opens your dedicated Notion Page with the specific shot list and script.
The Shoot
You film the raw clips. Most of our projects are 'Raw Footage Only'. We just need you to deliver the performance and the B-Roll. No editing required (unless specified).
The Upload
You upload the raw 4k files to our secure Dropbox portal. No Wetransfer links that expire. Just a simple drag-and-drop into your folder.
The Review
Our internal Creative Directors review the footage against the brief. If it's good, it's approved. If a shot is missing, we request a specific pickup (and pay for extra time if it was our fault).
The Bag
Once assets are approved, your payment is processed. You receive a notification from Bill.com, and the funds hit your account within the Net-15 window.
The Meadowlark Standard
We are friendly, but we are also professionals. To maintain our rates, we maintain a high standard of quality. Here is what we expect from every file you upload.
Visual Fidelity
- 4K Resolution: We prefer 4K at 60fps. This allows us to crop in during editing without losing quality.
- Clean Lens: It sounds basic, but wipe your lens! No smudges, no fog.
- Lighting: Always face the window (Natural Light). If shooting at night, use soft box lighting. No harsh overhead ceiling fans.
- No Filters: Do not record with TikTok/IG filters. We need the raw, uncompressed video file.
Audio Quality
- Quiet Room: Turn off the AC, the fan, and the TV. Background hum is the enemy of retention.
- Proximity: Keep the phone within arm's reach for best audio pickup, or use a wireless lav mic (highly recommended).
- Enunciation: Speak clearly and with energy. Mumbling gets cut.
- No Music: Never record with music playing in the background. We add licensed music in post-production.
The "It Factor"
Technical quality is the baseline. Performance is what gets you re-booked. We look for creators who can bring energy without being "cringe." We want authentic enthusiasm, natural body language, and the ability to deliver a hook that stops the scroll.
The "Don't" List
- ✕Don't read visibly from a script. Memorize lines in chunks.
- ✕Don't film with a messy room in the background.
- ✕Don't start the video with "Hey guys." Just start.
